Three beautifully decorated bedrooms with original Swedish wallpapers invite you to relax and dream. The modern kitchen offers everything you could wish for – perfect for cooking, baking, or enjoying breakfast on the large terrace. In the living room, you can truly unwind while taking in the lovely view of nature. The dining room offers plenty of space for cozy evenings, with a wide selection of games available free of charge. There are two modern bathrooms: – One with shower, toilet, and sink, equipped with shampoo, soap, toilet paper, and towels. – A second bathroom with toilet, sink, soap, and towels. Each guest also receives a personal towel set – one large and one small towel per person. All windows can be completely darkened, and elegant outdoor awnings let the beautiful Swedish light fill the rooms. On the new terrace, a large barbecue awaits you, and free parking is available directly at the house. Vimmerby is only a 10-minute drive away – as are the famous Katthult farm and the film locations from Astrid Lindgren’s world. A trip to Västervik is always worth it: take a boat tour through the archipelago, visit Gränsö Castle, enjoy a traditional Swedish fika by the sea, or simply go for a swim – in Sweden, there’s a lake waiting for you around every corner.

Stenhaga, house with lake plot, about 80 meters from our own lake. Large wooden deck with table and seating. Small sandy beach. Floating jetty with swimming ladder. The house is close to Smedstugan, our second house we rent out here on Airbnb. Fishing included. Salmon stocked. One fish is included in the rent, then SEK 100/salmon. Rowboat included. The kitchen has a folding section, which can be pulled completely to the side, large opening out to the balcony. Floor 1 - kitchen, TV room, bathroom. Level 2 - Living room with fireplace, balcony, 3 bedrooms. Wi-Fi, Apple TV.

 Only 15 minutes from Astrid Lindgren's world in Vimmerby. The house is located very beautifully and undisturbed with large lake plot, private swimming area and jetty. Perfect to 1-2 families. Here you have a fantastic view of the lake and idyllic surroundings in the small Småland village of Solnebo. In short walking distance there is a very child-friendly swimming area. Perfect starting point to explore Astrid Lindgren's Vimmerby and the surrounding area. Warm welcome!

Stay in a rural setting in a large house with park-like garden. Suitable for one or more families to live together (in the same company). 10 beds are included in the basic price - if more are desired: ask in booking. Large kitchen with all equipment you could wish for. You have four bedrooms where you can choose how to distribute your number of beds (two downstairs in the file and two separate upstairs). You will have the entire house by yourselves. Located in the environment where some of Astrid Lindgren's films were recorded. Welcome with the request!

Welcome to our newly-built apartment at Päronvägen 20 in Vimmerby. 😊 The apartment has its own entrance and is adjacent to our garage and house in a quiet newly-built residential area. Located only 600 meters from Vimmerby Camping where there is a swimming area, playground, mini golf, restaurant and unmanned shop. Vimmerby city center, where there are shops, grocery stores, restaurants, pharmacies and playgrounds, is about 5 km away and Astrid Lindgren's World and Astrid Lindgren's Näs are about 6 km away.

Grankvistgården (Farmhouse)

Now you have the opportunity to stay in our farmhouse at Grankvistgården from the 18th century in the center of Vimmerby. Access to a wonderful large garden with a gazebo and parking in the yard. Here you live centrally but privately and are close to both shops, restaurants and Astrid Lindgren's World. The house is perfect for 2 adults and 2 children as well as a smaller child as there is a crib. Alternatively, 4 adults. Bed linens and towels are not included. The guest cleans up before check-out.

Welcome to Villa Blanche a charming, white, wooden house in Stenberga – Småland. The house offers all comfort you need for a pleasant stay. Enjoy a cozy evening by the wood stove. Here you have lake Saljen close by (2km) where you can swim and fish. There are several walking trails directly from the house. In the beautiful garden we have a fire pit for grill evenings. From spring we will rent out our canoe. Go skiing, visit Astrid Lindgren park, visit a moose park or go down the zippline.

By car you can reach Astrid Lindgren's World in 10 minutes and within walking distance of 1km is the popular Tobo Golf Club with food service. Private beach with grass 50 meters from the house and shallow sandy beach 1 km away. Discover the lovely viewpoint next to the knot, take a jog on the running track or a swim in the lake. This is the place to relax after an intense day with all the lovely characters at Pippiland.

Welcome to a charming farm cottage from the 1880s, just 10 minutes from Vimmerby. Enjoy a rural stay with modern comfort and space for 6 – two sofa beds downstairs, one double and two single beds in the loft. Duvets, pillows, kitchen and toilet towels are included. Bring your own bed linen and towels, or rent for 100 SEK/set. Shower and washing machine in a separate room. Garden, forest and meadows nearby. Bathing spot 2.5 km away. Uncleaned stay will incur a cleaning fee of 500 SEK.

The Skuru farm is close to Katth Katthult and here you rent your own house on the farm. 25-minute drive to Astrid Lindgren's World Perfect for guests looking for a peaceful and pleasant holiday in the countryside. In 2020, we renovated the kitchen, entrance hall and laundry room and also built a brand new bathroom on the ground floor. There is proximity to the lake with boat and swimming. Warm welcome!
