Take the opportunity to stay on a farm, in a fresh apartment/cabin, near grazing animals. This is suitable for those who like peace and quiet, and nature. Gillsättra is an old, charming row house village. In the middle of the island, close to everything. 6 km to the nearest beach. 11 km to the popular Bjärbybadet on the east side and 12 km to Färjestaden. Many nice opportunities for walking. In the countryside, there are flies, roosters that crow, the smell of coal, and work being done on the farm. Smaller dogs are welcome; larger dogs will be too crowded in the small apartment.

Note: Low ceiling height (2 m) in bedrooms and bathrooms. No separate living room – only what is visible.

Öland Zoo and Coop are 12 minutes from the property. Takes 14 minutes to Färjestaden where more grocery stores and shopping centers are located. All opportunities to make excursions for the day to the northern/southern headland of Öland. Close to Kalmar and Borgholm, a lot happens during the summer.
