The Poema vacation rental is located in the old town of Bad Säckingen, right on the Rhine. Overlooking Switzerland! And very quiet. Säckingen was once an island; the building, dating back to 1780, is part of it. It has been completely renovated and updated; for example, underfloor heating is available. With plenty of natural light, a spacious kitchen-living area, and two bedrooms, this is an ideal place to explore this very interesting area, which offers a lot.

The old dye works, a factory from the 19th century. century, was expanded for mixed use. In addition to apartments, workshops and a doctor's office, guest rooms were created under the shed roofs of the factory halls. It was important to us to give the old building fabric a new use and to make it tangible. We were able to completely preserve the building shell and reuse renewed components in a different context. New components were left natural.

I call this little home "Tetto Piccolo." It is a 40 m² apartment. Behind the house is a small playground. Next door is the physiotherapy school and the Rhine Jura Clinic. The thermal bath is also within 3 minutes' walk. The Swiss border is also very close. The quiet location close to the mountain lake and a beautiful view of Switzerland invite you to relax. Wi-Fi is available. There is also a tourist tax of €2.5/day/person to be paid.

Our lovingly and cozily furnished apartment can accommodate up to four people and is just a five-minute walk from the city center - ideal for exploring the surroundings on foot.
