Spacious vacation home, close to Salzburg, in nature

Our family-friendly vacation home on our small farm is located in a very sunny and quiet location near the village, in the hiking area Krispl/Gaißau (Tennengau). The Celtic city of Hallein can be reached by car in about 20 minutes, the Mozart city of Salzburg can be reached in about 30 minutes, and the nearest ski resort can be reached in 40 minutes. Various summer and winter hiking trails/bathing lakes invite you to fully enjoy the beautiful surroundings. In 2026, my guests will also receive the Tennengau Card and mobility ticket by email.

The vacation home "Strickerl" is located in one of the most beautiful hiking areas in the world, in the Salzkammergut. We are located at an altitude of approx. 880 meters, which makes our guests immediately feel the alpine feeling. With us you have the opportunity to enjoy relaxation & the Austrian idyll. The house is located 4 km from Hallein and only 7 km from the festival city of Salzburg and is easily accessible from the nearby bus stop ( 400 m ). For athletes Sports center Rif is 2 km from the house Parking places for your cars are available directly in front of the house.

Fantastic mountain idyll, wonderful view of Hoher Göll, Watzmann, Kalter Untersberg,..., all day sun, a very special place. It is not for nothing that the opening sequence of "Sound of Music" was shot here... bathroom, kitchen high quality and new, amenities cozy and traditional. Suitable for families with children or a family with grandparents. Note: 2 beds are cribs (185 x 855), one bedroom is a passageway. Chickens, sheep, cats, bullerbü on the mountains!

Our studio apartment is located on the second floor of an old town house at the beginning of the Hallein pedestrian zone. Shops, bakeries, cafes, ice cream parlors and restaurants with beautiful gardens are practically at your doorstep. The medieval salt and Celtic city of Hallein is considered the “little sister” of the cultural city of Salzburg, which can be reached by S-Bahn in approx. 20 minutes.
