The lake house

Villa with direct access to Lake Orta. The villa is surrounded by a garden where you can spend a relaxing day on the shores of the most romantic of Italian lakes. Swimming lake with particularly clear waters. The water temperature is particularly mild and it is possible to swim from late May until early October. It is also ideal as a base for those wishing to visit the many tourist resorts in the area: Orta San Giulio, Lake Maggiore with Stresa and the Borromean Islands, Lake Mergozzo, the Ossola Valley, the Strona Valley, Valsesia and many others. Antique furnishings perfectly complement the historic architecture. The house is on 3 floors so a fair bit of walking up and down stairs is required. The main bedroom is on the upper floor and the 2nd bedroom (two single beds) and bathroom on the lowest floor. Ideal for couples and families but not for the elderly or groups of 4 adults.

The guesthouse is situated up upon a hill inside a 8,000 m2 private park full of Azaleas, Rhododendrons, and huge Chestnut Trees an easy 15 min. drive from either Arona or Stresa. Lakeside beaches, excellent restaurants and shopping facilities are within the close vicinity by car. A huge natural reserve with peaks offering panoramic views of lakes and alps can be reached in a few minutes on foot. The guesthouse's 60 m2 ground-floor apartment has an arcade covered patio and its own gardens.

APARTMENT FOR 4 PEOPLE, INCLUDING CHILDREN. Ground floor apartment, bright, consisting of a large living room, sofa bed and balcony with stunning views of the 3 lakes. Bathroom with shower and fixtures. Bedroom with double bed and 1 single bed. Possibility of adding a crib. Kitchen with fridge, stove, oven, coffee machine, equipped with dishes, pots and dishes. It is accessed from the shared courtyard to my home, in a quiet area near the Visconteo Castle.
