More cabin I have in the same area: https://www.airbnb.is/rooms/16192339 https://www.airbnb.is/rooms/14613078?checkin=&checkout=&guests=1&s=lI1cL3J9&sug=51 https://www.airbnb.is/rooms/14612572?checkin=&checkout=&guests=1&s=lI1cL3J9&sug=51 https://www.airbnb.is/rooms/14672110?checkin=01.10.2016 A small cabin at a great location within the Golden Circle area. Just about 70 km from Reykjavik (about 1 hour drive) and about 120 km from the Keflavik airport. Very easy to find.
“Location! If you are looking to explore Iceland’s amazing outdoors - this is your spot! This cabin is great because it provides - Easy access to many Golden Circle sites, - remote location ideal for Northern Light viewing - Very close to Fontana Geothermal Bathes (we have been to the Blue Lagoon and Fontana, and I think I had a better experience at Fontana. It is amazing.) - Refrigerator and basic kitchen area allows you to buy groceries and save money on food. (Food in Iceland is not cheap. Since our focus was on exploring nature, we stopped at Bonus and bought Skyr (YUM!), stuff for sandwiches, hot chocolate mix and snacks - and are out for dinner.) -HOT TUB!!! Yes! We loved sitting in the hot tub while it was snowing. Awesome! Some things to keep in mind with this Cabin: - It is about an hour+ outside of Reykjavik. The drive is beautiful and the location is great. But it is NOT easy access to city life. -The cabin is small. But there is a large porch. - In the winter you should really rent a car with 4-wheel drive. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely look to stay at one of his cabins for our next visit.”

“We had an amazing 2-night stay in guesthouse Akurgerdi. Sabine’s instructions and directions were really clear and helpful. The hot tub was definitely one of the highlights of our trip in Iceland, nothing beats having a bath in the evening with natural geothermal water after a long day of sightseeing! The kitchen was well equipped and we had everything we needed. Thank you for the unforgettable stay! We will be back for sure on our next trip to Iceland.”

“Facilities were amazing, hot tubs hot and ready to use, kitchen well equipped and free coffee was a lovely touch, bathrooms clean and tidy and well equipped, hair dryer was a lovely touch. Views and location are just stunning! Glamp pod was very clean and toasty warm all night, parking was right by the pod so no walking and everything central enough to find easily. Self check in and out were simple and perfect. Communication was excellent throughout. Hope to stay again and happily reccomend.”
