Enjoy your stay near the Acadian shores in our spacious, breezy, fully renovated historic Acadian home. Originally built in 1837, this home has been brought up to today's expectations for comfort, functionality and environmental sustainability. It sleeps 5. There is also an inflatable air mattress - double and pump and space to accommodate two extra guests. Tucked between Bear River, Annapolis Royal, and Kejimkujik National Park, Owl King Orchard is a 70 acre farm dotted with highland cattle, sheep, goats and winding forest trails. If you’re coming to unwind or to explore the local area, there is plenty of fun to be had all year ‘round.

Au Ford du Lac

In the rural Acadian community of Clare, you will find our fully equipped 1 bedroom + loft A-Frame style chalet sitting on a small lake. The beautiful view can be enjoyed from wall to wall windows, wrap around deck, or while sitting in the hot tub. Loft: 1 king & 1 single bed. Downstairs bedroom: 1 queen bed. Living room: double pull out sofa & futons. We are rural, although not remote. We live next door so let us know if anything is missing during your stay!

Cottage includes 1 Queen bed, 1 Double bed, and a pull-out sofa bed. Prior to your arrival we will send you detailed directions as you will travel roughly 8km on maintained dirt roads. We live on the same lake so we won't be far if you need anything.
