The eccentric cypress house is a house directly remodeled with cypress wood and loess. Stay in the ocher loess room heated by a wood fire in the agungi. Everything for living is brand new. It has a clean toilet and shower. Read a book in the spacious yard and relax with friends or family. Grill provided upon barbecue request.Charcoal. Wire mesh. We offer soybean stew and side dishes made with country soybean paste. The barbecue fee is 30,000 won. Please contact us separately if you want. In the living room kitchen, do not grill meat, fish, etc.Please be sure to follow these rules as it is a shared space. No smoking indoors. In the morning, we provide bread or rice cake to all guests staying at the accommodation so that you can have a light meal. We provide boiled towels and 100% cotton bedding filled with the smell of sunlight, washed every time. It is a bright accommodation with good sunlight through a large window. It is a studio type with two single beds side by side, so it is a basic for two adults, and up to four people are possible by providing additional bedding, and only up to four people, including infants, can enter. Free for children under 2 years old (up to 24 months), and no extra bedding is provided if free. You can see Mt. Samak, and if the weather is good, you can see the beautiful sunset full of red light. Breakfast is provided for a fee. (5,000 won/person, 3,000 won/person under elementary school, other menus such as brunch are available for consecutive stays) We don't offer barbecue service. Dongchonjae is located in Seochon Village, very close to Gwanghwamun Square, the center of Gyeongbokgung Palace and Seoul. It consists of Anchae, Sarangchae, and Annex Room. Built in 1939, Dongchonjae It's not a fancy hanok. Seoul City and the government (Korea Tourism Organization) have recognized it as a traditional hanok. Dongchonjae has opened its home by a retired couple and has been operating since October 2020. Guests use 4 rooms, living room (Daecheongmaru), kitchen, 2 bathrooms (inside: shower available, outside: small but showerable), Numaru, and yard. The host lives in Sarangchae and provides breakfast and other services.
