Het appartement is op loopafstand van hartje centrum, supermarkt, bakker, slager en delicatessen zaakjes en maar 10 minuten fietsen naar het strand van Scheveningen. Het gehele huis is recent verbouwd waarbij we zoveel mogelijk orginele details hebben bewaard.

Welcome to our “bakhuisje”: a national monument from +- 1700. The house is cozy and comfortable; living downstairs, bed is upstairs on the mezzanine. It has a cozy electric fireplace and a comfy couch. The bathroom has everything needed. Kitchenette (without cooking) with small fridge + coffee/tea and a beautiful view (vegetable garden, greenhouse, fruit trees). Of course WiFi and a workplace. Beautiful surroundings for walking/cycling and a small sandy beach in the river at 2 minutes walking.

Our monumental farmhouse (1876) is close to the beautiful city of Leiden (10 minutes by car). Also close to Amsterdam (30 minutes), Schiphol AirPort (20/25 minutes), the Hague (20 minutes). The beautiful beaches of Katwijk and Noordwijk are only half an hour away. For people who love the outdoors; there are many cycling and hiking possibilities close by. Aan de rand van de stad maar zo rustig midden in de weilanden, bent u van harte welkom in onze AirBNB aan de kaai... Vanuit het raam van de bovenverdieping van de gerenoveerde schuur, welke is gelegen naast onze boerderij, kijkt u op de Cabauwse molen en als u geluk heeft broed de ooievaar aan de overkant. Slechts 12 minuten lopen naar het strand, de boulevard en het winkelcentrum. Met 4 minuten gratis fietsen ben je al bij de Space Expo/de Estec.

Beautifully situated on the edge of the Green heart. You can also sit in the garden. Leiden, Gouda, The Hague and Rotterdam are also accessible by bicycle. Plenty of delivery options for meals. In short, a great holiday home in this corona period. You are more than welcome.

Bluebeach Scheveningen

Bluebeach is on the ground floor of our original 19th century fisherman's cottage in the heart of Scheveningen (The Hague). Walk in 10 minutes through the cozy shopping street Keizerstraat to the beach or ride the tram in 10 minutes to the center of The Hague. There are numerous restaurants and takeaways in the pleasant neighborhood. Breakfast can be a 5-minute walk away at Hofje van Noman or Appeltje Eitje.

Brugwachtershuisje Wijkerbrug

Geniet van dit monumentale huisje gelegen aan de Vliet, direct naast de brug. Het huisje is het woongedeelte van een voormalige boerderij, jarenlang gebruikt als brugwachters post. De brug wordt nu op afstand bediend, daarmee verloor het huisje haar functie. Nu is het een heerlijke en prachtige plek geworden om te genieten van het leven aan het water.
