There is a brochure in the apartment with a map of great maintained trails for mountain hikes in the local area. It is a good place for couples, solo travelers, families (with children), and large groups. Short distance to the zoo in Kristiansand (25 min). It is 35-40 minutes to the ferry in Kristiansand. The summer resort Lillesand is 15 minutes away, and the same distance to Toplandsheia with cross-country ski tracks during the ski season. The apartment is suitable for both summer and winter vacations.

The cabin has a large jetty on the downside of the cabin. Isefjærfjorden normally has the highest bathing temperature in the sea/Norway (travel radio). Short distance to the zoo, 15 km. The cabin is located only 10 min from R9. 20 min from Vennesla. 30 min from Kristiansand and 45 min from Kristiansand Zoo. 100 m from bike route 3. Very fast internet. Outdoor living room with fireplace can be borrowed upon request. Swimming area in the river 50 m from the cabin . Many hiking trails. Rowboat can be borrowed from about April to about November. A lot of small fish in the river. No need a fishing license.
