The house is centrally located on Öland and is about 5 km to both the west and east coasts, 3 km to a grocery store, 5 km to Färjestaden and about 20 km to Kalmar. The accommodation is located on Eriksöre bygata, a terraced town with well-preserved farms under the country castle. The Landborgen is a limestone slope that stretches across the whole of Öland. The grounds are green and hilly. The house is a small red cottage, in the middle of the historic buildings of Eriksöre. There are older windmills, barns and stone cellars. By car or bicycle, you can quickly get to Öland's beaches, sights such as Capellagården's craft school, the World Heritage Site for Sydöland's agricultural cultural landscape and Alvaret.
