The old building is reached by walking along a path, shaded by olive, almond and oak trees. Three spectacular terraces offer you a wonderful view overlooking the sea and the Eolian islands and allow you to sunbathe during the day and watch the stars at night. The Ionio is a mini apartment ideal for 2-3 people. It is located on the ground floor of the "Window to the Sea" structure. It has a kitchenette, air conditioning, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, wi-fi, a television with satellite receiver, a safe, and a beautiful terrace where you can have breakfast in the morning while admiring the sea or dinner in the evening. It is 5 km from the temple of Segesta, 15 from the beaches of Castellammare del Golfo and 28 from the gypsy reserve. At 45 km you can reach the beautiful salt flats of Marsala and 42 km from the city of Erice. In addition, the airports of Palermo and Trapani are equidistant, about 35 km away.

I live in the most lively and popular part of the historical centre of Palermo, exactly at the beginning of the famous Ballartò Market, in a large flat with a fumoir with oriental decorations from the early decades of the 20th century. It is not a B&B, nor a hotel, it is a real house where I live and where I welcome my guests like old friends with whom I share a love for art, travel and the diversity of cultures.
