The area is a great starting point for all kinds of nature experiences. In summer, the area offers great hiking and cycling opportunities along marked trails. From the area there is access to ten peaks over 2000 m.a.s.l. In winter there are groomed trails right outside the property. Here there are countless cross-country opportunities for both adults and children.

The cabin has neither running water nor electricity, but it has solar power, which is generally sufficient for charging phones and using lamps. Water is fetched from the stream behind the cabin. There is an outdoor toilet in the outbuilding next to the cabin. The cabin is heated with firewood.
