New cabin with high standard in quiet surroundings. Located at the end of a cabin field with no through traffic, it's just as good for families as it is for the group of friends. There is a car road all the way to the cabin all year round, and good parking. This is a perfect starting point for hiking in Jotunheimen and the surrounding mountain areas. In winter there is a cross country trail right behind the cabin and you can go on an alpine ski right outside the cabin door and run to the ski resort. The cabin is beautifully located also for hunting, fishing and total relaxation.

One hour from Jotunheimen with 255 of Norway's 300 mountain peaks over 2000 meters. And if you want urban city life, it is fifteen minutes to drive to the charming village of Fagernes. We live on a small farm with pets and a kitchen garden. On the outskirts of the yard on the farm there is a detached house from 1979. The house is family friendly and has a great view. It has 5 bedrooms and associated common rooms. With nature reserves and national parks around us on all sides, it is a good starting point to spend your vacation here. Great hiking terrain, short distance to Grimsdalen a mountain valley with free-range livestock and a rich plant and animal life. It is part of the Tour de Dovre cycling route.

The apartment is located in the heart of Vågåmo, with walking distance to cafes, restaurants, grocery stores and local attractions such as the historic Vågåkyrkja, the Ullinsvin cultural center and the Jutulheimen village museum. It has two bedrooms, a cozy living room with fireplace, balcony, bathroom and fully equipped kitchen.

The cabin is surrounded by beautiful nature with hiking opportunities on all sides. There is also an extensive network of groomed ski trails not far from the cabin. The area also has hunting and fishing opportunities. The cabin has six beds, a room with a family bed and a single bed and a room with a double bed, and otherwise what you need to enjoy a stay with us.

You will stay in Øverstuggu, one of about 50 buildings in the historical Kvarberg farm.
