Dear Guests Welcome! Caccamo is a hill town on the north coast of Sicily 521 m above the sea level, 10 km from the coast, 45 km from Palermo. The area is known for its agricultural products: almonds, meat, cheeses and olives.
“Antonella's place is super cute! It's right in the middle of Caccamo with it's stunning views and an old castle and church worth exploring. Antonella met us at the entrance of the village, showed us were we can park our car and took us to the apartment to explain everything. He also left some baked treats for us and everything you need for breakfast. It was delicious! Thanks again!!! The apartment has everything you need for a stay of a few days. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking and table ware. The bathroom had a nice shower and the bed rooms were as described. It also was very clean. I would definitely stay there again!”

“Roberts apartment is located in one of the picturesque streets of Termini Imerese near Via Roma and is a real gem: tastefully and individually decorated, excellently equipped and very clean. The view over the city to the sea was a joy every morning. In front of the house there is a small terrace with table and four chairs, which can be used for dinner in good weather. The city itself is very pleasantly human, thus untouristic. You can buy seafood caught by rough-legged fishermen, there are grocery stores with a wide selection of local produce, cafes and ice cream shops, and nice little restaurants with local cuisine. You can also swim, but the beach near the harbor is not exactly an experience. But the (foot) way there - he leads through all sorts of neglected facilities - is anything but inviting. Termini Imerese is great as a starting point for excursions in the near (Cefalù, Palermo - both by train in about 20-30 minutes) and the other (eg Agrigento, about 1.5 hours by train) environment.”

“A True Gem in Caccamo! We loved this Stylish, Modern, Super Clean & Comfy Home, filled with thoughtful & accommodating touches. It was the perfect place for our stay to visit where my grandfather was born & with much help from friendly neighbors it turns out he was born across the street from Patrizias home!! Patrizias parents met us & are the sweetest, kindest people ever. A big thanks to them for being so kind to us upon our arrival. Our brief stay in Caccamo was one I’ll cherish forever and thanks to Patrizia & her parents it was even better then expected. Caccamo streets are not well marked, so sometimes its hard to find things. people would came out & help us find places, say hello if we bumped into them later on & asked if we found places we were looking for. Several people actually walked us to where we needed to go. I swear, this town has the nicest people Ive ever met. Caccamo’s a beautiful town & I look forward to staying here again on my next visit. I highly recommend Patrizias place for your stay! Bonus: If your from Chicagoland area & visiting your ancestors homeland you will not be disappointed! Half of the town immigrated to Chicago & Chicago Heights early 1900s.Everyone we met had family or knew someone from here. They said we’re all starting to come back. I strongly encourage you to visit & support your ancestral hometown. You will not be disappointed.”
