Enjoy the quiet life in this centrally located accommodation. It is only 250m to walk to the market square in Lanwegen. The very good Pizzeria Napoli is only 200m away on foot. The old Ilm cycle path and the Ilm are right on the doorstep. The new Ilm cycle path on the old railway embankment is only 300m away. This is also where pure nature begins, whether on foot or by bike. Your bike is safe in the lockable bike shed. You reached the Rennsteig after 9 km.

Our guest house (about 89 m) is located on our mini-farm, which we operate as a hobby. The Schleusehof is idyllically located on a small river, where you can cool your feet on hot days. The house sleeps 4 people (2 adults + 2 children. On request, we also have a baby bed for the little ones. The yard offers space to romp and relax. Our holiday home is located in the picturesque beautiful Schmiedefeld on the Rennsteig, in the middle of the Thuringian Forest Biosphere Reserve. After only 1.5 km, you will find yourself directly on the Rennsteig and you can explore the hiking and skiing trails to your heart's content. You can also spend time on the ski slope, right next to our apartment.
