Juliabuda is located in Haugsbygda on Gurskøya. Juliabuda was built in the 1860s, and we can offer an atmospheric stay in this authentic seaside cottage where there has been a herring salting plant, a post office and a store. Sjøbuda has a jetty with the opportunity to go boating or enjoy views of the fjord and the islands in the strait. The area has many beautiful excursion areas both by the fjord and at mountain heights around 600-700 meters above sea level, with both light and more challenging terrain. Beautiful cabin with stunning views of Larsnes, boathouse and shoreline. An excellent holiday home by the sea on 2 floors, with living room, kitchen and bathroom on the 1st floor and bedroom on the 2nd floor. Good large terraces in the outdoor area with great sun conditions. Short distance to Larsnes city centre. Many trips in the surrounding area, and a short drive to both Ulsteinvik, Herøy and Ørsta/Volda. Kayak, SUP board and bicycle are included in the price. We can assist in providing contact information for the owner of a Bever 460, 9.9 hp boat.

Great place to vacation both in glorious summer weather and in autumn storms. A stone's throw to the shore and small boat harbor, and a few minutes walk to Hakallegarden visitor farm (check websites), and the beach Sandviksanden. The Hakalle staircase is located right above the cabin, and gives amazing views of the sea and the nearest islands. Perfect starting point for day trips to Vestkapp, Runde, Geiranger, Loen, Ålesund, etc... Approximately 300 meters to the grocery store with everything you need. Electric car charging available in town.

If you need to relax, this cabin, in natural surroundings is perfect for you! The name of the cabin is "Urastova". On this former small farm you can enjoy the silence with sheep and sometimes deer close to the cottage. The new cottage is located a few minutes from the majestic sea cliff Hornelen. The area offers very good fishing opportunities and hiking in the woods and mountains. We have 2 kayaks, 1 canoe, motor boat and 2 SUP boards for rent if available and on request.

Surrounded by the Sunnmørsalpene, between Ørsta and Ålesund lies this unique waterfront house. A perfect starting point for mountain hiking and other attractions in Sunnmøre. Within an hour or two you can reach famous places such as Geiranger, Åndalsnes, Loen and the amazing bird island Runde. The Atlantic Park in Ålesund is also worth a visit. In Ørsta, 20 min. away, there are plenty of shops and restaurants.

My boathouse is as close as you can get to the waterfront. It is built in a navy style with lots of antique items from a former career at sea. I believe it has what is needed to enjoy a relaxing holiday on a quiet Island on the norwegian westcoast.
