You can fish, enjoy the sounds of many different birds, or listen to the deer's bellowing. We made this special place to stay with great care. There are great hiking spots nearby. But if someone wants the bustle of the city, Siófok, the seaside resort town of Lake Balaton, is nearby, where there are many entertainment and shopping opportunities.

Our charmingly renovated press house is situated on a secluded row of cellars in the enchanting hills of Balatonendréd, next to beautiful vineyards and a magical forest. It is an ideal choice for those who want to get away from the city noise and enjoy the nature.The place is named after a bird called the hoopoe which lives in the area and is most often seen on the way to the cottage when taking a powder bath. The local beach can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes. The house is fully furnished and provides guests with full comfort and relaxation. The ruins of a 200-year-old barn accommodate the garden dining and lounge area. Alsóörs can be reached with a comfortable walk.

From 3 minutes walk, across the elictric railroad tracks you can find a supermarket, a pharmacy and the well known Öreg Halász restaurant.
