Sightseeing

Howth is iconic and very much a tourist hotspot. It's perfect to visit on warm, sunny days which are few and far between in Ireland! I recommend it for cute cafés, chippers and pubs. You can also relax and take in the beautiful scenery of the harbour and marina. Plus, my family originates from Howth so I feel a strong connection to it.

The walk up to Howth Summit should take around 30 minutes from Howth village or less if you're a fast walker like me. It's a little tiring, but the views are amazing. The number 31A bus will take you directly to Howth Summit from the city centre and it passes through Raheny village. Lucky you!
