Best ice cream in town and it is a bit of a local secret. When Janettas is queued out of the door, you can often easily get into Luvians, and we personally think their ice cream is streets ahead.

Worth the half hour drive. Organic farm shop, with mostly vegetarian options (don't let this put you off it you are not vegetarian as all the food is excellent and they do have some meat and fish options). Great options for family friendly walks in the woods which you can access from just outside the cafe,

Our favourite beach. About 25 minute drive, but well worth it. Great rock pools to explore at low tide and plenty of parking space. Also allows for access to the Fife Coastal Path. Toilet facilities available and sometimes served by the popular cheesy toast shack (serving the best cheese toasties).

Not actually been ourselves, but all our friends (with kids) rave about it. Although the the facade looks small, there is a lot of scope inside the museum.
