Food Scene

Good steak and cocktails. You will probably need to book for the early evening deal – from 5-7pm, Monday to Saturday, a 6oz rump steak, fries, sauce and a glass of house wine is only £12.50.

Gorgeous restaurant with high quality fixtures and fittings. Lovely and helpful staff serving delicious, well presented food with wide choice on menu with an often buzzing atmosphere. Not cheap, but worth it in my opinion.

Don't be fooled into thinking this busy, small entranced cafe, (which doesn't appear to have much seating!) is not big enough to go in to find a table. Upstairs there are loads of seats with lots of people enjoying the great breakfast food. Lovely garden area in the Spring and Summer. The menu is slightly more extensive for breakfast than most as it extends to pancakes and porridge as well as the usual full English and egg varieties plus vegetarian options. The coffee is very good too.

Located near the center of Bristol, the SS Great Britain is a must visit for any traveller in the area. The history behind the ship is amazing and is well presented. Exploring the ship itself was also a great experience, with many rooms decorated to represent what it looked like back in it's former glory days.

Great place to come for a walk, relax and feed the wildlife. The views of Bristol from the tower are amazing. Well worth a visit especially in the summer. Beware though the steps are steep and narrow!

Drinks & Nightlife

Red light is a speakeasy style bar hidden on Unity St. If you manage to find it, it will be worth the effort! Reservations are a must and make sure you brings lots of money! The cocktails are expensive but very much worth it.

A lovely place to go for a cider on a warm summer's day. Unfortunately everyone else in Bristol thinks the same and it can get incredibly busy.
