There are a resident group of Penguins (Little Blue Penguins) live here, they are the smallest penguins in the world and can be seen returning to their nests/burrows as it gets dark in the evening. Go along Marine Parade at the bottom of the Port Loop Road and there is an info sign there to tell you where to look
