Best place to see authentic Irish trad. Beware this is not for the giant of heart listener. You really have to listen to the music at this joint. Not for the chatty gaggle.

Right in the heart of downtown Galway. This place often has music sessions going all day over the weekends. Easy to drift in and out of and great base if some of your groups wants to go shopping at the outdoor market just next to this pub. And, those not in the mood to peruse and enjoy some nice pints of the brown stuff, Guinness that is:)
