So much fun for little people. There's a lunch/coffee spot for mum and dad, animals to pet and feed and a nice play area for burning a bit of energy. A good morning out.

We love popping in here for freshly baked goods, breakfast and a coffee. They also do tapas in the evenings. Also a good spot to buy frozen, home-made meals if you don't feel like cooking.

As a fun day out with kids, the World of Birds Wildlife Sanctuary is a favourite of ours. You can stroll through the aviaries and get really close to the birds. The monkey enclose is popular too.

Our little boy's favourite beach. Boulders Beach is home to a large colony of African Penguins. There are very few places in the world where you can enjoy a day at the beach and meet the penguins.

The Southern tip of the Cape Peninsula is well worth a visit. This World Heritage site is a great place to view the local flora and fauna. Try the funicular if you fancy the view but not the walk.

Parks & Nature

Our number one "must do" when visiting Cape Town. Spend a day visiting our beautiful mountain. Take the cable car or hike up (we recommend a guide) and have a meal on top of the mountain after a walk to enjoy the breathtaking views across the peninsula.
