In the basement of the Old Town Shops and literally in the middle of a clothing store (weird). Pay at the counter, which makes it GREAT for large groups. Easy to be loud and chaotic.

Chain steakhouse. Our newest place for birthday celebrations (sing to you while you are forced to sit up on a saddle they roll over). Really great bread with honey butter is likely what brings people back time and time again.

Best Mexican breakfast around. If you don't like Mexican, there are other options like a pile of French toast with an ice cream sundae on top. Packed...always. Casa Duarte is a quite, not packed spin off with the same food.

Only open in the summer. It's a pop up in an alley by Diablo Burger. So specacular! The crepes are whipped up on a big griddle and then covered or rolled in various yummy things. There are a few tables but it's not a real restaurant. It's a more of a tent I suppose.

In the summer take the chairlift to the top. The views are breathtaking and on a clear day you can see all the way to the Grand Canyon. The Agassiz Lodge (at the top) is open for drinks and food; they also allow dogs at the top and have Frisbee golf. At Agassiz Lodge on the chair lift at 9500 feet and get taken to 11,500 feet. Once you get off at the top there are bathrooms and you can hike to the tip of Humphrey's Peak, which is at 12,000 feet. We typically have one of our very informative forest rangers up there that will answer questions on the topography that grows at this altitude and discuss the volcanic eruptions of past. In the winter it's open for skiing and snowboarding.
