Sometimes there's nothing better than relaxing to catch up and chow down with the people you love. At Elvira's Cafe, that's just the type of feeling we've been providing since we first opened our doors in 2012. Our cafe's menu is just about as fresh as it gets, featuring dishes made with premium, organic ingredients sourced directly from local farms. What that amounts to is lovingly prepared, home-cooked food that can be made any way you like it, regardless of dietary restrictions. Next time you're in the neighborhood, pay us a visit to enjoy a little southern hospitality and a whole lot of flavor!

My husband visit the area very often as we are only a few hours away. We always look for “hidden gems” or restaurants off of the main strip to try. We came upon Chubby’s and we will definitely be back!!!! I had the open face roast beef and mashed potatoes and my husband had the club sandwich. The best we have had!

This 11 miles one way single lane road is a great drive thru nature. We saw bears, deer and wild turkeys. There is a small gift shop well into the drive with rest rooms and some old buildings to check out. In this area we also saw some families picnicking. Allow at least a couple of hours to enjoy the drive and all that it has to offer.
