A 10 minute stroll (maybe less) from Explorer's Rest. Excellent Mediterranean and international menu with vegan/vegetarian and gluten free options. Excellent service and very good value for money. Probably best to book!

Always busy, so pop in and book in advance. Gina and her family own and run this tiny but fabulous restaurant. Best for meat eaters! Amazing selection of fresh grilled local meat at very economical prices. Fun and lively atmosphere.

Beside the sea. Stunning setting and impeccable service. Beautifully decorated and very thoughtfully designed. The menu tends to be more geared towards seafood and a kind of tapas idea of ordering several small plates. Some really unusual but delicious offerings. A little more pricey than your average tourist taverna but well worth it.

Another seafront location. This is for the seafood connoisseur. An exclusive restaurant that requires booking. If you love seafood you'll really appreciate Dominicale.

This place is fabulous. I'll probably see you there at least once while you're in Argassi. Run by the Soulis family. Every year the menu is revisited and rethought with some truly wonderful Mediterranean and international flavours. Excellent Buddha bowl! Another of my favourites is the goats cheese salad. Wow! Excellent value for money. Mandy (Mrs Souli) and her son Alex also run Greek cookery classes. They are an amazing experience for anyone interested in Greek cuisine.

Marlen is a bit of a well kept secret so I was a little unsure whether to include it here! Marlen is a resto bar on the seafront in Argassi. It's also a venue for artistic and alternative visual arts and performance. It's the absolute best place chill in the garden beside the sea with a long cool drink just listening to the waves and 'being'!

Target is on the hillside overlooking Argassi. It's quite a trek by foot up there, but realistically only takes about 15 minutes... but it's uphill, and in the heat it feels like you're climbing Everest! So, if you want to head up there let me know and I'll give them a call and they will send thier mini bus down to collect you. You'll find a basic but good Greek menu. The best thing about Target is the view. And the sunset. It's stunning!
