We love McGuire's! It's our "go to" for all of our birthdays and just because. The menu is very diverse. Burgers, seafood, steak, you name it, they've probably got it. The atmosphere is also great! The portions are huge so remember when ordering. We sometimes share meals unless we want to save some for later!

Pompano Joe's is a long time favorite of locals and tourists alike. The ocean front restaurant is laid back and friendly. It's right around the corner from our house so we love to go to the beach there.
The menu varies and is kid friendly. The prices are very reasonable for ocean front dining.

We love to take family and friends to Whale's Tail for breakfast. The breakfast prices are very reasonable and you will get amazing views. We always sit outside so if the weather's crumby, you may want to wait for a nicer day.
During spring break, if you're not into a "party" scene, I wouldn't go any other time than breakfast. It's the hang out beach for the spring breakers and can get crazy. Any time of year should be great for breakfast.

Arriving / Leaving on a Saturday
Saturdays are check in/check out days for most rental companies. If you are arriving on a Saturday, you might be in traffic for hours in the afternoon. When leaving on a Saturday, it's best to get out pretty early to avoid the traffic.

The traffic can get pretty crazy in the summer. If it rains, the traffic is bad enough that most of us locals cancel everything. Yes, it gets that bad. They are adding some lanes to the main road. Hopefully that will help some.
