Most people say the BEST Japanese food in Berkeley. I encourage you to try some of their grilled items and more unusual things. If you are not feeling adventurous, they do have California Rolls. Get there early as they often have a line- so early birds for dinner.

The TEA LEAF SALAD!!!!!! I've been here so many times. Almost always I order the tea leaf salad which I find to be a marvelous blend of flavors and textures. they have plenty of other options also. For a restaurant in this city, I find it relatively easy to have a conversation in- a big plus for me! Good acoustics and excellent food are a great combination.
