The stop hosts the Oregon Zoo, Forestry Center, Portland Children's Museum, and is the gateway to the famous Washington Park hiking trails that can connect you to the Japanese Garden, Rose Garden, and scenic overlooks of the city. This can easily be a full day adventure and it is free to roam the park via the trail system. You MAX train ticket also grants you passage on the park shuttle bus that is operated by the local bus system.
