Our favourite take-out is Pasta Lapino for their home made lasagne . Pasta Lapino is located downstairs from our unit around the corner from Kentucky Fried Chicken in the IGA complex. Since it is easy to get disoriented, turn right when you leave our condo, walk to the end of the hall, take the stair to ground level and turn right. Walk towards the next building and under their circular stair, past Duff’s Burrito and Crepe Montagne towards the end of the walkway. Dine at Pasta Lapino and your entree will include a soup, they have limited seating, cozy but simple!

If looking for fun night out with a small group and prepared to spend extra visit the Bearfoot Bistro. They cater to a higher end crowd with their oyster bar, but the oysters are on special during Apre! Fabulous cocktail creations by their bar staff. Known also for their ice-bar/vodka room where for about $50 they’ll dress you up in a Canadian Goose winter coat to stand in a freezer and taste vodka. Nothing goes better with oysters than a bottle of champagne while the cellar at the Bearfoot is a must-see! Ask the bartender if you can sabre your bottle and get a great tour downstairs with their sommelier. Chef creations and entrée’s

Everyone should ski-out to Creekside at least once to try the pulled pork at Dusty’s located at the bottom of the Creekside gondola. The atmosphere inside this lodge is warm and on a sunny day the patio is great. Plan your day accordingly since to get back to the Marketplace Lodge from the Creekside Village you'll need to either get on the last Creekside gondola ride or plan to take a $2.50 bus ride or a $10 taxi back to the main village. Brandywine Falls (the spectacular 70-metre waterfall) is best seen from the viewpoint which also presents some marvelous views of Daisy Lake and the surrounding mountains. This park provides opportunities for hiking, picnicking, mountain biking and viewing of the waterfall. The park was tripled in size in 2010 to include unique habitat for red-legged frogs (a provincial “blue listed” species at risk). A number of existing recreation trails were included in the expanded park as well.
