Really authentic Viennese cuisine. Everything from Schnitzel to Kaiserschmarren is on the menu and the wines are great. The place is very nice for couples and also suited for families. Staff is friendly and the restaurant is beautifully furnished. Prices are medium to high but the food is high quality.

There is already three spots in Vienna where you can find Eisgreissler. Rotenturmstraße in the first district, Neubaugasse and Mariahilferstraße, a huge shopping street. We have ice-cream from Eisgreissler almost every day in summer... You can definitely get addicted. If you can't decide which flavor to choose ask them if you can split the scoop and try two flavors.

A hidden gem that is only to be found if you know about it. It's just a few meters from the appartement. What we like best about it: there is a menu BUT the waiters will ask you if you would like to order something special according to your wishes. And then you are free to tell them whatever you want to be in the drink and they will make a special creation just for you with those ingredients plus whatever is needed. :) We love this place! Techno from Monday to Sunday. Not easy to find! The door doesn't say Donau or anything else on it. It's simply grey and you have to knock to be led in. Alternatively there might be security standing on the street. So watch out to find it. It's totally worth it.
