I love UCB! Shows are funny and cheap (usaully no more than $10). My fav team is Bucky on Friday. If you're planning on staying for longer look into their improv classes.

You can ride the ferry for free to Staten Island. There is not much to do once you get to the other side but the ride over offers great views of the city and the Statue of Liberty.

Not as dirty as it used to be, which was part of its charm, but still an NYC staple. Don't go in the water but do check out the aquarium near by. It's the oldest in the country.
