Pretty much a guaranteed stop on your stay, even if you pop over the road to put your feet in the sand and water.
Best to go at low tide, and you can walk all the way around to the point on the sand or rocks and get a great view of surfers and fishermen on the point.
Then walk up from there to the headland and get 360 degree views of teh whole area.

The famous Manly Beach. A great place to visit if you love crowds, shops and some of the history of the area.
Head to the Manly Wharf area for the best restaurants, or right on the beach front for some pretty pricey places.
Also the best option to head out for a big night out in this area, with many bars and nightclubs.

North Narrabeen has some great areas to explore and a nice ocean pool.
It's also where the Narrabeen Lagoon exits to the sea, but I would not recommend swimming around this entrance from the lagoon as it is known for sharks

You won't probably find this place in your guide book, it's a big of a secret beach, and as it doesn't have surf patrol there it normally is very quite.
It's a beach where you are allowed horses on the beach.
Please be careful if you go swimming.

I would recommend all of the options here (not that I have tried them all)
The Tropical with prawn and mango is awesome, and Greek Lamb Zorba is also one of my favourites.
