A must when coming to The Coromandel. Located in Hahei, top of Grange road is the car park, trail is posted. Need water, hat, sun screen-lots of stairs. There is also a water taxi off Hahei Beach.

Ferry from this side over to Whitianga, $6 return, runs continuously during summer. Whitinga is were the banks, pharmacies, doctors and general shops are. You can drive around to town in 30mins.
