Best sit-down restaurant in Laie. Our favorite is the Ahi Tataki salad. Air conditioned. Located inside the Hukilau Marketplace, which is fun to roam around in for a night out. Plenty of little shops and food trucks.

Want to eat like a local? Go here. Only open weekends. The ahi katsu is amaaaazing. And if you're feeling really adventurous try some poke (pronounced poh-keh. . . it's raw fish, YUM!).

Farm-to-table yumminess. Everything here is good. Don't leave without trying the grilled banana bread.

Parks & Nature

Sweeping 180 degree views of the majestic Pacific Ocean. I've lived here over 15 years and I still come to this spot every chance I get to feast my eyes on the sea. There's the most amazing rock formation with a giant hole in it here. Perfect photo op.

This is our #1 favorite beach to take our kids. Long stretch of soft sand, several different swimming spots, snorkeling, generally uncrowded. At the far south side of the park is a rock/coral formation known as "Alligator Pond." It forms a sheltered "pond-like" area that's perfect for littles that can't handle wave action.

Arts & Culture

This is absolutely the best place on the island to go to learn about the Polynesian island cultures. The mini-shows are entertaining and informative, the luau food is authentic and delicious, the place is beautiful and family-oriented. If you come to Oahu and don't go to the PCC you are missing out.
