Couhé, our local market town, is just 10 mins away and has two supermarkets, a large Intermarché and a smaller Carrefour Contact hidden behind the high street. The small Sunday market under the roof of Les Halles, the ancient market hall, is worth a visit for picking up fresh fruit and veg and that spit-roast chicken.
