Great for watching the sunset. You can often get a meal voucher from the bottle shop. Salad and pizza are both good. There is often music on Sundays. $5 pizza Thurs night after 8:30 are great value.

Sheltered cafe on Church Point Wharf is great for lunch. There is live music on Sunday from 3. The walk from Mona Vale to Church Point is beautiful. Takes an hour or more with great views.

My favorite lunch. Asian salads for $13 . BLISS! It is hard to get a seat so sometimes takeaway is better. My favorite is Tokyo but New York is good too.

Lissa runs a fabulous cafe with great wraps and salmon bagels. I really do go out to lunch too much! Across the road is a fabulous view over Warriewood beach.

Sightseeing

When you walk through to the end of the car park heading north along Newport Beach follow the path over the headland to Bilgola. It has the best ocean pool and a little coffee shop. Beautiful beach.

The first beach you come to and our local. Check out the surf in front of the clubhouse early in the morning. We swim out to Kylie which is the buoy 300m out from shore. Swim between the flags.

You can's drive down to Bungan which makes it very secluded. It is a steep path down. At low tide we will sometimes walk north around the headland to get home. It is a good walk for the sure footed.

Fabulous day trip. Drive or catch a bus up to Palm Beach Wharf then catch the ferry to the Basin. Lovely grassy picnic area with wallabies and goanna. There are aboriginal carvings up the paths.

Take a ferry to the Basin or book with Pittwater Kayak Tours and go for a paddle. It will be more than worth it. You can even catch a ferry up to the Wagstaff and Ettalong for the day.

From Church Point you can drive the back roads into the National Park. It costs to get in but the views from West Head are spectacular. There are lots of walking tracks we wish we had done.

There is a mostly flat track all the way around Narrabeen Lake. It's beautiful scenery on the bush and the lake.
