This is where hot chicken was made famous! Do expect a line and a wait. Beware that this is HOT but tasty chicken, it's family owned and a Nashville must if you like your chicken spicy. XXX is the hottest they have on the menu but typically Hot or Medium is hot enough, the rest will leave you sweating all day. Damn good pizza and damn good beer that are both made from scratch in house. ENBW has even starting to grow their own hops to create their beers from. During the spring and summer these hops drape over the trellis out on the deck. The facility is dog friendly so expect a few pups to be walking around outside looking for all the affection.

Jose the owner is from Ecuador and has a passion for food and conversation. He will do all he can to make sure your meal and drinks are what you expected. This is a local hang with amazing street taco and fresh squeezed lime margaritas. A quick and affordable start to a night out on the town.

Another great brewery with a unique decor and funky hops smell. If the scent gets too strong they do have an awesome patio to hang out on as well. This brewery is tucked just off of germantown a great area to walk around to shop, eat and mingle with locals.

This is hands down my most favorite bar downtown! Decently priced beer and fantastic music! Try and catch the Don Kelly Band who will take the stage Thursday - Sunday starting at 7pm. The bass player will walk up his bass while slapping the bass and the 18 year old lead guitar player will shred you to tears. Definitely a true Nashville experience with an original Honky Tonk vibe.

Check out Printer's Alley just off of downtown. It's in an Alley full of live music, food and locals. Bourbon street boogie bar is one of my favorites in the alley but expect to pay a cover. Miss Kelly's is a spot to go if you are looking to show off some talent in the karaoke department, both of these places are always a good time.

Santa's Pub is a great place to meet friends, have a beer, and be a star. The beer is always cold, and the atmosphere is always warm (even Santa likes a break from the North Pole). The owner looks like Santa, hence the name. This is a local hang in a single wide trailer, that allows smoking. Some things to keep in mind if you visit the pub. Santa's is cash only (There's an ATM outside). Beers start at $2. Karaoke every night. It starts at 7PM (9PM on Sundays). They are open until 2:30AM every night. The house band plays every Sunday from 7-9PM. Be nice, Santa is quick to put unruly children on his naughty and never return list. I recommend checking out the website before venturing out.

The Parthenon stands proudly as the centerpiece of Centennial Park, Nashville's premier urban park. The re-creation of the 42-foot statue Athena is the focus of the Parthenon just as it was in ancient Greece. The building and the Athena statue are both full-scale replicas of the Athenian originals. Originally built for Tennessee's 1897 Centennial Exposition, this replica of the Parthenon in Athens, Greece serves as a monument to what is considered the pinnacle of classical architecture. The plaster replicas of the Parthenon Marbles found in the Naos are direct casts of the original sculptures, which adorned the pediments of the Athenian Parthenon dating back to 438 B.C. Love Circle is a historic spot that has come to be known as Nashville's very own lovers' lane. Wind up the residential drive in West End and you'll find a park with stunning views of Music City. The hill is located 744 feet above sea level and once was the highest point in the old City of Nashville. What to do once you reached the top? That's up to you! I suggest grabbing a blanket and a picnic for a romantic date with your one and only. John Rich from country band Big and Rich, has built his compound house on top of Loves Circle and has named it Mt. Richmore which is branded on his front gate entrance. His house is ugly it looks like a parking garage, that will help you locate it. LOL!
