Parks & Nature
Brasstown Bald is the highest mountain in Georgia. At the top of the mountain is an observatory where, on a clear day, you can see up to five states. The mountain is closed for the season from mid-November to spring. Spectacular views from the top of the mountain. There is a movie about the mountain and an elevator for anyone who cannot climb the stairs. The courtesy van takes you and your family up to the top of the mountain. Great photography opportunities. Sunsets are spectacular! This is a national forest, so there is a nominal fee for each car. There is also a small souvenir shop. Clean restrooms.

Bell Mountain is less than 5 miles from our home. Bell Mountain is a local mountain park that was donated to the county. It is open to the public free of charge. There are amazing views of the mountains and Lake Chatuge.

Our home is approximately 2 hours from the Mercedes Benz Stadium for the Super Bowl. Excellent highways all the way to the stadium. We are opening our guest quarters for the Super Bowl with a minimum of 2 nights. We can accommodate 5.
