A hidden gem with none of the tourist traffic that usually floods Borough Market. Eat at an offshoot of the fantastic St. John restaurant or savour beer from local breweries situated under the railway arches.

The best tapas in London, hands down. Our favourite is the fried goats cheese with honey, washed down with a glass of Sherry. Definitely superior to Barrafina across the river in Soho. Go now before word gets around, and it's only 2 minutes away so no excuses!

Don't lose your head at the Tower of London. Built by the Norman King William the Conquerer to keep rebellious Londoners in check, this historic castle is only a 10 minute walk away which means you can beat the crowds by arriving first thing.

London's biggest and best art gallery. It's worth going just to experience the scale of the turbine hall alone. The best thing is that it's free, like all of London's galleries.
