Food Scene

Best Value in Big Sky, Views are amazing. Ribs are spot on, sampler a good bet for the indecisive. The $7 fried chicken is a staple for locals, and can't be beat (includes coldslaw, bbq baked beans, whole kernel corn, cornbread and three pieces of chicken). TIP: Three normal folks can split a $7 chicken and the full rack rib dinner, mixing it up family style! With drinks, get out for under $40. Food mostly, but warm, lively and vibrant atmosphere: the place to be in Big Sky for running into others after a day rafting, fishing, riding horses or skiing. Watch the Gallatin River race by, feeding elk too. Enjoy a Coldsmoke or PBR with dinner, then stick around. Games for kids.

Arts & Culture

Hard to imagine this is where T-Rex lived! The paleontologist Michael Crichton based his "Jurassic Park" character on lives here, and this is his life's work. Several full fossil Triceratops, some T-Rex mean lizard dudes and a planetarium; learn what to look for in this months sky or see a film. Its pretty rad, and maybe an option on the way in or out of Bozeman or BZN.
