My favourite bar. They have a wide selection of craft beer both local and international, and quality wine. The bar is cosy and very centrally located, with super helpful and friendly bar staff.

It’s a mix of Vietnamese and sushi, hence the name. I would recommend a sharing platter of sushi if you’re multiple people.

A great sushi place. They do Norwegian fusion sushi and the restaurant is on the harbour with a view of the sea. There is an aquarium inside with live fish.

Ølhallen is where the local beer company Mack have their location for brewing and tasting. Lots of options on tap. Historically where Roald Amundsen and Fridtjof Nansen would gather their men before arctic explorations.

Pricey restaurant, but worth it for a treat. I recommend sharing a wine bottle for the table and getting a five course meal, instead of getting the wine package as well.

I'd recommend the husky Aurora husky ride to see the northern lights. That way, even if you don't get lucky seeing the northern light, you've still been on an amazing trip.
