I love seeing shows at TheatreSquared. Produced here in Fayetteville to national acclaim, the shows are excellent and feature talent from across the country as well as local artists. I enjoy the welcoming and friendly bar/restaurant "The Commons" before a show. It's comfortable for a solo audience member or for groups.

Food scene

Walk down the block to Sassy’s for a good meal and lots of friendly folks. The lively patio is a great place for a beer and bbq or burger. Razorback game days are especially lively.

Our local healthy food co-op is open to everyone! Shop for produce or prepared food from the salad bar, coffee counter, bakery or beer tap. Enjoy your meal on the huge patio with swings and outdoor seating, and occasional live musicians! A favorite place to stock up on good food. A nice walk or bike ride from the house, or a 2-minute drive.

Any time is a great time to visit, but Tuesdays are my favorite for the great deals on gourmet pizza from Wicked Wood-Fired Pizza! This funky friendly warehouse filled with local art has indoor seating and a big covered patio with picnic tables, where you can meet new friends or bring a book and relax with your brew.

A long-time Fayetteville favorite, in a cool basement location. My go-to sandwiches are the Derek’s Special or the Cheddar-Swiss-Tomato&Sprouts. You can’t go wrong with the burgers, and you have to try the Grasshopper for dessert!

A favorite from our Fort Smith days! Great for dinner before a show at TheatreSquared, since it’s right across the street. Creative Latin American cuisine, expertly presented. The tortilla soup is a long-time favorite.

Ordering food delivery in Fayetteville

You’ll notice a lot of places close early-ish (compared to bigger cities) and many don’t offer delivery. Most local spots can be delivered by the awesome Clunk. Search FB for CHEW or “Clunks Hungry Express Wagon”. You text him your order, he calls it in and picks up & brings it to you, you send him the amount plus a 15% fee and tip. Text him to see if he’s available when you’re craving Taste of Thai… or Mockingbird Kitchen… or anything delicious.
