Sightseeing

Baguio is an artist’s haven and what better way to celebrate creativity than to visit National Artist, Bencab’s museum that showcases his work and those of other artists. It also features a picturesque garden that blends very well with the natural landscape as well as a cafe that serves great pasta and refreshing drinks. Bring a car when you visit since it’s a little out of the way and hailing a cab may take a while if you decide to commute. In any case, it’s definitely worth a visit!

Watch the magnificent sun rise across the Cordillera mountain ranges in a sea of clouds at the Mines View Park and witness this scene take your breath away. Try to come very early to avoid the crowd and get the best view of nature’s daily miracle. For a memorable experience, watch the sunrise with a hot strawberry-flavored taho or soy bean curd in hand!

The Baguio Public Market is a one-stop-shop for all your fresh and dry ingredients needs. Fresh fruits and vegetables are available all day, but the coffee and tablea at the famous Garcia’s Premium Coffee Shop may come short when you come later in the day (the line is long), so do this first thing in the morning!
