One of our favourite places to eat and walk. Great food, views, walks and sandy coves. Sea View BYG is the go to place for all your dining needs. Located in the picturesque village of Borth-y-Gest, minutes from both Porthmadog and Morfa Bychan - where you will find the never ending Black Rock Sands Beach. The village of Borth-y-gest has its own stunning small coves and beaches, ideal to visit for a post lunch stroll. Sea View BYG occupies two premises adjacent to one another- one providing full dine in service & the other fully take away

Aqua beach bar. Amazing food, views and ambience. Great coastal walks from here . What they say… We are right at the foot of lower Llanbedrog, where the little stream that runs alongside the road down from the village and past the bar, tumbles onto the sands. There’s an ‘outside-outside’ section of the restaurant, comprehensively protected by high-tech awnings and an ‘inside-outside’ section with awnings and electrically operated drop blinds that will particularly suit those sandy-toed visitors making there happy way up from the beach, providing protection from the elements but offering the opportunity to sit right on the ‘edge of the world’ that is Llanbedrog beach and its ‘to die for’ views. The addition of patio heaters and blankets means customers are comfortable whatever the weather. So why not come and join us for a drink, a spot of lunch.

Amazing walks, food, day out with the family. Stunning extended walks too around the coast . Well worth the visit. What they say…. The Ty Coch Inn is arguably the best pub in Wales and OFFICIALLY in the top ten beach bars in the world... according to a recent survey It is situated in the village of Porthdinllaen near Morfa Nefyn, Gwynedd, on the north coast of the Lleyn peninsular. With views across the Irish Sea to The Rivals and a sandy beach on its doorstep what better way to while away the hours.

An amazing little cafe in a pretty stunning location. Called whistling sands by tourists. When you stamp your feet the sand and wind make whistling noises. Kids love it. Again super coastal walks , often sightings of seals . Worth the drive. Park in National trust car park and walk down

Recently refurbished. Beautiful food and setting. Great Sunday lunches. You can walk here from the back of the hotel road, follow it up the hill and there are paths leading across the tops, amazing views , you will need to search online for the maps to do this walk. There are maps in the van too.

Opened early 2022, Nice food, great play area, small snooker table. They have gone to town on creating a beautiful relaxed outdoor and indoor area. Tastefully do e. Great pirate ship play area for the kids. Great after a day on the beach ( you can actually drive onto the beach and pay a small fee in cash, to park all day. Perfect when you have kids and stuff for the day. If you stay near the entrance there is a toilet or drive down towards this beach bar/ pub and you have food and a pub/ loo .

Just has everything. Walks , amazing scenery, food, shops, trains, river walk. Park in town or we always park at the National trust Craflwyn car park ( lots of different walks in , moderate to hard- definitely not for buggies or people unsteady on their legs) we like to climb mountain on way in and river walk back after a nice visit for food and a beer.
