Mountaindale is also a cute little village to check out. Highly recommend going here to have some cocktails and eats by the creek. They have fire pits and all types of seating options. Great for couples, families, kids and dogs, all! Live music on Saturday nights - check our their website.

This is a great spot to site by a beautiful pond and have a delicious meal. About a 15 minutes drive from the house. Great scenic stopping points along the way and over the Shawangunk Ridge.

Def worth checking out. They have snacks and great coffee. Their hummus veggie bowl is delish! It's essentially a chic farm store in an old barn with fresh produce and home items for purchase, and of course the cafe. They have a great backyard and a fire pit going usually.

Make sure to check business hours prior to planning. Many towns/villages have earlier closing hours than larger cities and you may find that things close earlier than you would expect. This applies to shops and restaurants, pharmacies, urgent cares, etc...

Local Natural Features
Make sure you check to see if reservations are needed and if they are, make them. These sites types of sites have become quite popular and they now only allow you to visit if you have made a reservation. We would hate for you to miss out on these if that is your goal for the trip because they are spectacular and individually unique experiences. This includes but is not limited to: Sam's Point, Minnewaska State Park Preserve(includes Awosting Falls), Verkeerder Falls, the Peekamoose Blue Hole, etc...
