Mill Creek OHV Trail leads the ridder through remote areas of the Ozark National Forest and features spectacular mountainous terrain, scenic views, lush hardwood forests, unique rock outcrops, and clear mountain streams. The main trail and inside loops are connected to accommodate riders who want to vary the length of their trips. The trail is gravel or unsurfaced and is made of rough rocky terrain. The difficulty varies from easy to very difficult.

Fly Gap road is located in Franklin County, Arkansas, it’s approximately 16 miles long, with West Fly Gap and East Fly Gap divided by Arkansas Highway 23. The road is full of gorgeous views and winding trails.

Hiking in the Ozark Mountains!

Lost Valley Trail is a 2.1 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located in Ponca, Arkansas that features a water fall and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for walking, hiking, nature trips, and bird watching and is accessible all year-round. Note this area is heavily visited on the weekends. Best if visited during the week if you want a little solitude.

The trail is primarily used for hiking and nature trips and is accessible all year-round. Dogs are also welcome but must be kept on a leash. The trail to the waterfall is all down hill, so the hike out is all uphill. The trail starts out as an old jeep trail and turns into a narrow path. The waterfall is unique in that the water has worn through the ledge and plummets through a round hole instead of a ledge, thus the name Glory Hole. It is best to hike in early spring or late fall when the water is flowing. Have extreme cation when approaching the waterfall at the top.

The rugged and forested Boston Mountains provides the settling for this route, which often runs through a tunnel of foliage during spring, summer, and fall. Spring wildflowers and brilliant autumn foliage make the route especially popular during those seasons.

This treasured drive has a multitude of stops and gorgeous scenery. The highway was actually the state’s first designated scenic byway in 1993. Right before we reach the tiny town of Jasper we’ll come across a must see the Arkansas Grand Canyon. The entire length of the byway is 290 miles.
