Walking is easy
Metro in Paris can be daunting experience! The good news is you can walk to most of the major sightseeing sites from my place ;)

Watch out for bikes 🚴 and 🛴 scooters
They usually have their own interpretation of signs and lights ;) always be careful when you cross the streets in Paris.

Velib is a very convenient way to get around - it’s the city’s public shared biking service and it’s super affordable! Remember to always check your bike before taking it (wheels, brakes, pedals)

There are pickpockets everywhere and they know how to spot tourists! Keep your personal belongings close to you.

Don’t sign petitions and don’t gamble with strangers
People will ask you to sign petitions or play cards games on the street with them but it’s a scam - they’re just trying to rip you off.
