Vikbron is the longest wooden bridge in Sweden, built in 1888 and reaches 133m across Ljungan. If you walk over it and take a left you will see the sign Kärleksstigen (the love trail), follow it and you might see beavers who are working on their dams. There is an old Viking grave, wind shelter with a place to bbq and small sandy beaches along the way. You can keep walking around it and reach back at the bridge again (takes about 30min). This cave (translates to Snowskullcave) was formed 2,5million years ago. It is 57m long and very steep, narrow and dark so it’s only for the brave souls! There is an old saying that there was a woman called Kerstin who was captured by the snowskullpeople and she is still down there so make sure you watch your step so she doesn’t grab a hold of your feet and make you trip! You need to bring good shoes, flashlight, preferably a helmet and also a friend. There is no phone signal in the cave and it’s completely fine to turn around if you’re scared! Located a 50min drive to the west.
