Family owned and operated. Excellent dining experience. The food is delicious and the deep fried butter tart is a must try! They also have private dining gazebos which are screened in during the summer and have wood stoves in the winter for the ultimate Muskoka dining experience. Reservations are a must.

The Dorset Scenic Lookout Tower is located off Highway 35 just north of the village of Dorset. The original tower was built in 1922, was 25 metres high (82 feet) and used as a fire lookout tower until 1961. The current tower was built in 1967 and is 30 metres high (100 feet) and was erected for visitors to enjoy the view. Visitors are welcome to climb to the observation deck, which is 142 metres (465 feet) above Lake of Bays, and enjoy the view from the tree-top lookout as well as ground level lookout.

The Hunters Bay Trail is a walking, running and cycling trail. It begins at the Centre Street bridge near Uponor and winds along the river, under the railway trestle, along the south side of Hunters Bay, through the Avery Beach Park and onwards under the Hwy #11 bridge. This is an ideal place to relax while fishing or swimming or just enjoying the trail. Orchard Park is at the southern tip of the bay that looks down the full length of the bay. This trail is located 3 min from the apartment and is a great place to swim too!!
